Uploading Questions

Why isn't the Audio button showing up on my page?
The upload process did not complete properly, probably to incorrect server settings in the FTP area. All the generated files must be uploaded in the same directory as your HTML page for the player to work, or appear on your page. Watch Uploading Files Video If you are not familiar with FTP, use our hosting service.

Where can I get my FTP settings?
Please contact your web hosting provider. Only your web hosting provider will know these settings, and only your web hosting provider can send them to you.
I use FTP all the time, but it's not working with MWT
We placed several error messages in the FTP area of the software that will prompt you, and let you know which setting you have entered incorrectly. There are three areas you need to double check:

(a) FTP login location; typically this would be: yourdomain.com, but it can vary depending on your hosting provider, ask your host for your FTP login information.
(b) User name;
(c) Password
(d) Path to public documents directory; typically this would be something like usr/home/www
but it can vary depending on your hosting provider, you should experiment, try removing a slash before and/or after the path. Try varients of the path like:

usr/home/www
usr/home/www/
/usr/home/www

Try FTPing in with your FTP program and look at the path structure on your server. Ask your host for your FTP login information. If you can login with a 3rd party FTP program, then you will be able to upload with MWT software.

I keep getting an error "FTP server not Ready"!
Your host may limit the number of FTP connections permitted to their server. Try closing the software, re-start the sofwtare and try again.
Can I upload the files manually?
Yes.

You'll need to upload the following files into the same directory where ever you defined the paths in the FTP area of MWT.

Here’s the files you will need to upload:

C:/program files/my website talks/MWT/yourfilename.txt

C:/program files/my website talks/MWT/yourfilename.SWF

C:/program files/my website talks/MWT/yourfilename.html

C:/program files/my website talks/MWT/yourfilename_email.html

all these file must be in the same directory as defined as in the Player Code in your hTML page. If your player does not appear on your page, this means the paths you've defined in the software and the path where you 've uploaded files is not consistant.
